Backstory is encouraged, but I find many times a character backstory is pre-defined by the skills, attributes, and other stuff a character comes with and my team can work with just that. My group is great at the role-playing aspects, but until I get them hooked on the rule-set, they are not motivated to generate characters, and I am too caught up in the other aspects to create something for them. I guess if I have to I will stick with the intro box characters, but was hoping someone who liked to generate characters (in the past this was a small hobby I practiced when I was in High School and playing AD&D) would be posting them online for others to perhaps use in missions. But while I am OK running a world for them to jump into, I am less good at character generation, and was looking for a few pre-made characters to give to the players to choose from. I am trying to introduce my gaming buddies to Shadowrun, and while they are interested in the setting, I would like to run them through a few missions to seal the deal. "Watch your back, shoot straight, conserve ammo, and never, ever, cut a deal with a dragon." Living Community (Where you can play online) Subreddits For that please check out /r/ShadowrunReturns for help. Sadly our nova hot community isn't the best place to discuss the mechanics discussion or troubleshooting the video games. Mostly the pen and paper role playing game, but also the deck building card game, video games, and literature of Shadowrun. Let me know if there are any issues with it or if anything needs fixing. Discussion is primarily aimed at exploring narratives found in the Sixth World. So after some brief googling I found that the Form Fillable sheet for SR6 is kinda broken, so I went ahead and threw together an admittedly wonky form fillable character sheet for if you cant wait for the publishers to fix it Link here. Based upon the rules-light and easy-to-learn Cue System, Shadowrun: Anarchy is a narrative-focused game experience that has everything you need to quickly grab some gear, load up on spells, and get to throwing the dice. Here at /r/Shadowrun we talk shop about all things in the shadows. Shadowrun: Anarchy is a new way to get into the best cyberpunk/urban fantasy action around.
